He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richard Spence and Clara Bell Watson Spence; and his stepson Randy Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Spence of Princeton; his daughters, Nancy Muggleton (Ken) of Apollo Beach, FL and Karen Amos (Mike) of Concord, NC; and his stepson Terry Bailey (Kathy) of Radford, VA. He is also survived by two brothers; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
