He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wimmer and Ann Wimmer; and his sisters, Betty Gentry and Thelma McCollins. He is survived by: his wife Autry Crawford Wimmer; and his children, Charles S. Wimmer Jr. and Dr. Jeannette Cockroft.
