She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Romey and Flora Mae Milam Killen; her former husband Harry Lee Akers; her husband Thomas E. Moses; and her stepdaughter Sue Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Simmons (Joe) of Princeton and Karen Kendall of Andover Kansas; her stepdaughter Glenna Carter of Toledo, Ohio; her grandchildren, Joey Simmons (Missy) of Princeton, Chris Harshbarger (Martha) of Houston, TX, Michael Simmons (Amber) of Richmond, VA, Staci Harden (Cass) of Princeton and Dr. Jenni Harshbarger (Joe Smith) of Andover Kansas; her sisters, Jewel Dunn of Mountain City, TN and Jean Sawyers of King, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Wade Simmons of King, NC, Evelyn Bauguess of Myrtle Beach, SC, Edna Roberts of Princeton, Alma Sizemore of Princeton and Many. She is also survived by Many loving nieces and nephews.
