It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Anthelene Hughes of Princeton, West Virginia, born in Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Raftery and Carrie A. Sink Raftery; and her sister Janice Wooten. She is survived by: her son James Hughes of Princeton; and her grandchildren, Courtney Conner of Princeton, Daniel Woods of Princeton, Kenneth Dickerson of Princeton, Olivia Hughes of Princeton and Destiny Belcher. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
