Alice Gail Perdue Shires Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Gail Perdue Shires of Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Frances Hall Harvey; and her siblings, Frances Elizabeth "Mary" Hill, Tommy Harvey, Douglas and Donald Ray Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel Allen Shires; her children, Melissa Dawn Perdue (David Pruett), Shandra Perdue Stanley (Brian), Tim Shires (Emily), Bobby Shires (Katrina), Becky Weiss (Mike) and Steve Shires (Jeanette); her great grandchild Fifteen; and her sister Dee "Lillie" Hall Lawrence.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in Alice's name to: Alzheimer's Association Chapter, 1601 2nd Avenue, Charleston, WV 25387.
