He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Spears and Ada Persinger Spears. He is survived by: his daughters, Candy Nail (Mike), Ada Michelle Christian (Frank), Lisa Flynn (Shawn) and Karry Spears; his adoptive son Dakota Spears; his grandchildren, Christian, Alexandra, Zane, Zoe, Cory, Jason, Brandon, Jennifer, Mason and Kendall; and his great grandchild Saylor.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1822 Chestnut St, Kenova, WV 25530).
