She was predeceased by: her parents, Warnie Diamond and Jesse Keaton Diamond; her son Steve Johnson; her grandchildren, Laura and Alvin Gregory Johnson; her sister Anna Gay Muncy; her former husband George Alvin Johnson; and her close friend Sammy Ritz.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Newman (Mark); her niece Evelyn June McGuire; her grandchildren, Maddie Newman, Ally Newman and Joe Johnson; her great grandchild Jackson Ward; and her daughter-in-law Lora Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
