He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Dean and Nellie Hatten Dean; his stepfather Edward Gilkerson; his daughter Amanda Fannin; his siblings, Gary Dean and Susan Charles; his nephew Glen Charles; and his son-in-law Herbert Hooser.
He is survived by: his children, Samantha Hooser, Kristen Dean, Ricky Dean and Devon Deering; his son-in-law James Fannin; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Fannin, Maddax Fannin, Lynnox Fannin, Samuel Hooser, Glendon Hooser and Axton Henderson; his brother Kevin Dean; his uncle Cullie; his aunt Jonnie Dee Hatten; and his close friends, Rodney Utley, Fred and Martha McSorley.
