It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Gilkerson of Prichard, West Virginia, born in Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Collinsworth and Lola Collinsworth; her husband Charles H. "Chalk" Gilkerson; and her sister Lois Fern Hill. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Mitchell (Roger) of Prichard, W. Va, Randy Gilkerson of Titusville, Fla., Bonnie Madden (Don) of Flagler Beach, Fla. and Doug Gilkerson (Renee) of Martin, KY.; and her grandchildren, Shannon, Toby, Beth, Doug, Katie, Clint, Josh and Kinsey.
