He is survived by: his parent Bessie Church Short; his son Michael Short; his spouse Ruby Short; his children, Jeff Short (Donna) of Pipestem, WV, Terry Short (Kelly) of Roderfield, WV and Tammy Powell of Pipestem, WV; and his brothers, Jerry Short of Hensley, WV and Lee Short. He is also survived by five Grandchildren, and ten Great Grandchildren.
