He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Banks and Doris Banks. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Miles Banks; his children, Reva (Mark) of Sod, WV and James Ray of Hopewell, VA.; and his stepchildren, Phil Miles of Red House, WV, Patricia Kinkead (Tim) of Bristol, VA. and David (Sharon) of Hurricane, WV.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
