He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Beard and Alma Beard of Spangler, WV.. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Beard; his sons, Timothy Beard, Bruce Beard (Ruby) and Steven Beard (Diana); his stepdaughters, Kathy Petty (Ronnie) and Jeannie Lavender (Kenny); and his daughter-in-law Debbie Hill. He is also survived by many grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
