He is survived by: his wife Edna "Toni" Crump Scarberry; his children, Paula Price (Larry Hurley) of Charleston and Johnny Scarberry of Point Pleasant; his grandchildren, Jed Gibbs (Kristen) of Charleston, WV, Cailtin Gibbs of Madison, WV, Jacob Dorsey (Jennifer Simpkins) of Gallipolis Ferry and Tyler Scarberry of Point Pleasant; his great grandchildren, Landon Aldridge and Jocelyn Gibbs; and his siblings, Ruth Ann McBride (Ronnie), Betty Holden, Sam Scarberry (Debby) and Tom (Earlene) of New Haven. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Deal Funeral Home (1401 Kanawha St, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
