We bid farewell to Russell Vernon Holland of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Russell Vernon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell "Gib" Gilbert Holland and Nona Agnes Holland (Deweese); his wife Janet Elizabeth Holland; his siblings, Thomas, Glen, Chester Holland and Eloise Kemper; and his siblings-in-law, Gertrude Holland and Richard Kemper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky, J. D. Sallaz of Point Pleasant, Dina and Thomas Reynolds of Point Pleasant; his grandchildren, Nathan Reynolds (Beth), Ashley Finnicum (Joe), Jill Fowler (Nathan) and Tommy Reynolds (Linsey); his great grandchildren, Carson, Kylinn Finnicum, Callee Fowler, Jaxx and Kinley Reynolds; and his sister-in-law Romona Holland of Point Pleasant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home (2226 Jackson Ave, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
