It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Miles Stanley Epling of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles S. Epling and Freda Epling (Henry); and his brother Bruce Epling. He is survived by: his sons, Tommy and Travis Epling (Whitney); his grandchildren, Torrie (Tucker), Trinity, Tanner, Miles and Marshall Epling; his great grandchildren, Tillie and Teller Mayes; his brother George Epling (Becky); his nieces and nephews, Kelly Fields (Jeff), Amber Bergdoll (Russ), Liberty Boles (Jeremy), Jamie Tate and Barry Epling (Ann); the mother of his children Diane Epling; and his close friend Mary Gandee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Point Pleasant Jr/Sr High School (280 Scenic Dr, Point Pleasant, WV 25550). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Epling Hall at the American Legion Post 23 Point Pleasant (100 2nd St, Point Pleasant, WV 25550).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Miles Epling Memorial Scholarship Fund C/O Travis Epling 300 Skyline Parkway, Athens, GA 30606.
