He is survived by: his wife Ellen Elizabeth Smith (Long); his children, Jill Smith of Point Pleasant, Jennifer Hinzman (Brooks) of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, Lori Byus (Dave) of Point Pleasant, Beth Martin (Alex) of Point Pleasant and Robbie Greenlee (Katrina) of Gallipolis Ferry; his grandchildren, Kelsie and Kaylee Byus; his children, Katlyn, Tyler, Hadley Hinzman, Lillian Hill and Aubree Greenlee; his sister Pam Simpkins of Sun Prairie, WI; his cousin Judd Stewart of Beckley, WV; and also James Lilly of Point Pleasant.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Joe can be made to the Brielle Rimmey Ball Park Memorial Fund at Ohio Valley Bank.
