She was predeceased by: her parents, Okey Phillip Shamblin and Loraine Hilda Shamblin (Coutz); her husband Joseph Randolph Spencer; her children, Wyatt Lloyd Akers and Jessica Lee "Gurdie" Harris; her grandsons, Raymond Lloyd Akers and Elijah Mowrey; and her brother Thomas Phillip Shamblin.
She is survived by: her son Troy Akers of Hinton, WV. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
