He is survived by: his children, Brenna Shobe (Randy) of Point Pleasant, Eddie Mayes (Missy) of Point Pleasant, Angela Cremeans of Hurricane, WV, George Mayes (Raquel) of Leon, Lori Cain (Duane) of Point Pleasant and Bethany Mayes (Danny) of Point Pleasant; his sisters, Dottie Eads of Point Pleasant, June Roberts of Point Pleasant and Shirley Dressler of Zanesville, OH; and his pets, Charlie, Rocky and Bandit. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
