With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delmar Lewis Parsons of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on April 22, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clayton Parsons and Doshia Ethel Cottrill Parsons; his wife Rachel L. Parsons; his son Larry Lewis Parsons; and his siblings, Eloise Huling (Lewis), Denver Parsons (Velma), Charles Parsons, Carl Parsons and Purna Parsons (Donna Lue Parsons).
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Allen Parsons (Margaret) of Victoria and Randall Lee Parsons (Sheila) of Buffalo; his grandchildren, Candace Lucas (James) of Alabama, Ross Parsons and Sarah Parsons of Victoria, Texas; his great grandchild Blake Lucas; and his siblings-in-law, Madelyn Parsons of Westerville, Margaret Lewis (Harvey) of Gallipolis Ferry, Martha Meadows of Orange Park, Florida and Preston Blankenship (Carol) of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Point Pleasant First Church of the Nazarene, 2500 Mount Vernon Ave., Point Pleasant, WV 25550.
