He is survived by: his mother Linda Arlene Gaul (Hamilton) of Point Pleasant; his wife Valerie Ann Smith (Diamond) of Point Pleasant; his stepfather Kevin Gaul of Point Pleasant; his children, Cassandra Hysell (Cody) of Rutland, OH, Charles Joseph Smith (Cortney) of Middleport, OH, Dominic Randolph of Point Pleasant and Mason Smith of Point Pleasant; his grandchildren, Bentley Smith and Maverick Hysell of Rutland; his siblings, Shelly Warth (Darrin) of Burlington, KY, Joshua Dickens (Amy) of Point Pleasant, Frank Dickens (Jamie) of Pomeroy, OH, Jonathan Dickens of Jackson, OH, Elisha Dickens of Glenville, WV, Faith Pennington (Charles) of Pomeroy, Retta Day of Pomeroy and Sheila Dickens of Pomeroy; and his stepbrothers, Sam of Point Pleasant and Jason Gaul of Point Pleasant. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
