She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel E Slayton Sr. (Ella) and Ella Mae Long; and her siblings, Daniel, Walter, George Slayton, Jenny and Betty.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel and Jerry; her sister Sarah Slayton; her granddaughters, Jennifer and Heather; and her great grandchild James. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
