He was predeceased by: his parents, Blaine Parkins and Lucille Kessell Parkins; and his siblings, JoAnna Craigo and Michael Parkins. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Dale Withrow Parkins; his children, Pam Perkins of Poca, Melanie Arthur (Ron) of Bluffton, SC and David Parkins (Sarah) of Liberty; his sister Debbie Bowman; his siblings-in-law, Oshel Craigo of Winfield and Helen Parkins of Martinsburg; his grandchildren, Matthew Perkins (Karlie), Sean Arthur, Samantha Craigo (Josh), Marissa Ramey (Michael), Natalie Parkins and Cheridan Arthur; and his great grandchildren, Jane, Oakley, Lyla and Eden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, co -workers and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Poca Alumni Association, P.O. Box 427 Poca, WV 25159.
