He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Crites and Audrey Crites; and his siblings, Burt Davis, Jerry Crites, Donnie Crites and Betty Sue Connally.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Natalie Milam; his children, Michael Crites (Rebecca), Chad Crites, Casey Crites (Amber) and Kimberly Paul; and his sisters, Brenda Honaker, Cathy Saunders and Judy Crites. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great granddaughter.
