She was predeceased by: her husband Shirley Karnes; and her son Daniel Karnes. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Cathy Karnes), Michael (Elizabeth Karnes) and Jenny (Bill Davis); her daughter-in-law Gwenn Karnes Webb (Jim); and her siblings, Joan Schuman, Judy Thomas and James (Vicky Lambert). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A reception was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gatens-Harding Funeral Home (147 Main St, Poca, WV 25159). Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
