It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Eugene Carpenter (Poca, West Virginia), who passed away on August 25, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Carpenter and Elva Carpenter; and his brother Larry Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Carpenter; his daughter Michele Mills (Dale); his stepsons, David Michael Basham (Charity) and Steven Ray Owens; his brother Stephen Carpenter (Chai); his grandchildren, Kenneth Campbell, Brooke Miller, Dakota Mills, Lachrshia Basham, Sean Basham, Jordan Basham, Madison Basham, Matthew Basham, Colton Basham, Corben Armstrong and Cameron Wright; his great grandchildren, Mason Douglas and Emily Watson; and his sister-in-law Betty Carpenter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
