He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn; his parents, Troy Lathey and Irene Lathey; and his brothers, Randy and Timmy.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Richardson (Kelly) of St. Albans and LeAnna Smith (Jeff) of Poca; his brother Steve Lathey (Pat) of Huntington; his grandchildren, Donnie Boggess, Justin Boggess, Julianna Taylor, Steven Reynolds and Samantha Smith; and his uncle Paul Lathey (Betty). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Burial with military honors will be in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV at 2:00 PM In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial.
