It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophia Eva Schuresko of Pipestem, West Virginia, born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 107, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vasily Punzell and Eva Hrebin Punzell Sobran; her husband Daniel Alexander Schuresko; and her siblings, Charles Punzell, John Sobran, Mary Costine and Anna Punzell.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Neely (Robert L.) of Pipestem and Daniel David Schuresko (Janet) of Wisconsin; and her grandchildren, Michael Schuresko of California, Stephen Schuresko of Maryland and Christine Schuresko (Sylvie) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
