He was predeceased by: his parent Daniel Clarence; his son Benny Paul Caperton; and his siblings, Pauline Blankenship, Ruby Clemons, Wesley Anderson and Hershel Anderson.
He is survived by: his parent Bessie Odell Easter Caperton; his wife Margaret Lucille Houchins Caperton; his daughter Jennifer Caperton Belcher (Kevin) of Peterstown; his grandchildren, Victoria, Chase and Whitney Belcher; and his sisters, Gay Pennington (Jimmy) of Burton and Anna Lee Meadows of Green Springs.
