It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Martin (Pipestem, West Virginia), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on December 15, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Vernon and Bertha Fitzpatrick Ratcliffe; her husband Charles W. "Buddy" Martin; her daughter Linda Carol Harper; and her siblings, Alpha, Franklin, Leslie, Thomas Ratcliffe and Addie Maddy.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Farley (Robert "Cotty") of Pipestem and Charles; her grandchildren, Mark Farley (Joni), Angela Richmond (Jody) of Hurricane, Shawn Martin and Tara Lone (J. J.); her great grandchildren, Jordan Joudry (Corey), Zach, Zoe Farley, Hunter, Carter Richmond and Layla Lone; and her son David Slyvester of Colorado.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes are that donations be made to the Rocking Chair Residential Care Home, 2103 Pine Grove Road, Lerona, WV 25971.
