She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Houchins and Opal Martin Houchins; her former husband Robert W. Spangler; her husband Rev. Whittier Sprinkel; and her son Frank Spangler.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Spangler (Martha) of Fairmont, WV, Bill Spangler (Susie) of Pipestem and Jim Spangler of Pipestem; and her stepchildren, Art Sprinkel of Rosedale, MD, Larry Sprinkel of Rocky Mount, VA, Delbert Sprinkel of Virginia and Doris McCray of Myrtle Beach, SC.. She is also survived by Five grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews.
