He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carter and Dorothy Doss Carter Farley; his wife Patricia Ann Smith Carter; and his daughter Lanee Carter. He is survived by: his grandchildren, S. Navy and S. Army; his son Jason Carter (Lori) of Keystone; and his sister Barbara Halsey of Princeton.
