He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Richmond and Margarite Bell Ashley Richmond; his former wife Linda Charlotte Richmond; his siblings, Wanda Richmond and Jackie Richmond; and his half-brother William "Bill" Richmond.
He is survived by: his daughters, Conni Smith (Keith) of Piney View and Sara Jones (Philip) of MacArthur; his fiancée Alice Bragg of Piney View; his grandchildren, Hannah Mitchell, James Mitchell, Adyson Richmond and Allen Estepp; his great grandchild Tramel Grant; and his half-brother Bob Richmond of Florida.
