It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Lora Blevins of Piney View, West Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Forren and Kate Forren; her husband Ron Blevins, Sr.; and her sister-in-law Ellen Forren. She is survived by: her children, Ron Blevins, Jr. (Heather) of Piney View and Stephanie Collins (Leroy) of Piney View; her brothers, Sam Forren of Meadow Bridge, Duke Forren (Diana) of Crickmer, Roger Forren (Mary Jane) of Meadow Bridge and Steven (Lisa) of Meadow Bridge; and her grandchildren, Ronnie Blevins of Beckley, Matthew Blevins of Stanaford and Erica Collins of Piney View. She is also survived by extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smathers Funeral Chapel Inc. (675 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
