He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Baxter Growe Jr. and Juanita Mae Burchette; and his uncles, Jim "Bud" Burchette, Treely "Tom" Burchette and Edward "Chub" Lee Burchette.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Karen Cook-Growe; his daughter Hannah; his son-in-law Zach Halsey of Daniels; his grandson Matthew Tyler Halsey; his brother Jeffrey Growe Sr.; his nephew Jeffrey Growe Jr. of Pineville; and his parents-in-law, Patricia Cook of Beckley, Jerry and Linda Cook of Oceana.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, and Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
