She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson and Mary Ann Anderson; her husband Freddie Garrett; and her granddaughter Baylee Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Garrett, John, Jamette Garrett of Kinston, NC, Robin Garrett of Princeton, WV and Mary Cathryn Garrett-Cook of Pineville, WV; her sisters, Letha White, Barbara Gilmore and Melissa Powell; her grandchildren, Bo Garrett of Princeton, WV, Taylor Garrett-Rife of Princeton, WV, Ian Garrett of Kinston, NC, Garrett Mitchell of Pineville, WV and Caroline Cook of Pineville, WV; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Garrett, Conor Garrett and Harper Rife. She is also survived by her family, friends.
She was heavily involved in and often donated proudly to numerous charitable and non-profit organizations including the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, WVMC Tote Bag Ministry, Alzheimer's Research Foundation, Jonathan Powell Hope Foundation, and ASPCA.
