With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Shawn Parsons (Pineville, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 46. He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Riffe; his grandparents, Addie Riffe, Virgil and Rita Parsons; his brother Michael Parsons; and his father-in-law Bobby Day.
He is survived by: his father William Carl "Peewee" Parsons; his wife Rebecca Parsons; his stepmother Debbie Parsons; his children, Haleigh Parsons and Nathan Parsons; his sister Carla King; his mother-in-law Judy Day; his brothers-in-law, Chris Day (Melissa) and Jeff Day (Mindy); and his nieces and nephews, Blake Parsons, Malachi King, Mycha King, Ethan Day, Kaitlyn Gardner, Sarah Day, Abby Day and Emily Peck.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans-Calfee Funeral Services (614 Appalachian Hwy, Pineville, WV 24874). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
