He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Green and Mae Green (Dixon). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Green (Riffe); his daughters, Brenda Shumate (Terry) of Pineville, WV and Barbara Green of Blacksburg, VA; his grandchild Jayen Parker Green (Meagan Smith) of Christiansburg, VA; his daughter Michaela Faber (Trey) of Charleston, WV.; and his brothers, Ray (Cora), Larry (Evelyn), Bobby (Susan) and Terry (Carol). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, beloved in-laws and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evans-Calfee Funeral Service-Pineville (614 Appalachian Hwy, Pineville, WV 24874). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research at give.michaeljfox.org in honor of Billy Gene Green.
