She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Ray and Alda Ruth Eddy (Henderson); her husband Jerry Bassett; her grandson Davie Sivert; and her great grandchildren, Everly and Eden Anderson.

She is survived by: her children, Tim Bassett (Melissa) of Reader, WV, Michelle Burch (Gary) of Reader, WV, Connie Sivert (David) of Jacksonburg, WV and Terri Sivert (Fred) of Reader, WV; and her siblings, Allen Eddy (Trish) of Massillon, OH, Nelson Eddy of New Martinsville, WV, Frank Eddy of Middlebourne, WV, Floyd Eddy (Darlene) of Middlebourne, WV, Ronnie Eddy (Cindy) of Middlebourne, WV and Cindy Greathouse of Jacksonburg, WV. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
