She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Silas E. Mundy and Myrtle Hunt Mundy of Walton, WV.; her husband Edison M. Beard; her son Dan Beard; and her siblings, Joseph Mundy, Marie Bee, Gladys Bartelson, Mary Harper and Naomi Green.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Cavender (Bill) of Pinch; her grandsons, Jeffrey Cavender (Sara) of Huntington and Adam Cavender (Stephanie) of Scott Depot; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Meagan, Sydney, Anthony, Chase and Alayna; her granddaughter Robin Eggleton (Rex); her great grandchildren, Kiersten and Bryce; her grandson Andrew Beard (Miranda) of Marmet; her great grandchildren, Aubree and Ella; and her sister Lois Howell (Ray) of Rockford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
