She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Hazel Gertrue Schoolcraft Buckner; her former husband Rex Hunt; her children, Andrea and Larry; her husband Rev. Chester Shafer; and her siblings, James Albert Buckner, Maxelean Belle Sample, Beulah Hazel Mallory and Annise Mae Spears.
She is survived by: her grandson Nicholas Hunt; and her daughter-in-law Bobbie (David Collart). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic in our state, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn that social distancing be observed.
