She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Evers "Buck" Smith Jr. and Glenna June Smith (McDonald); her grandparents, Charles Evers Smith and Gladys Smith (Dawson); her husband Dwight David Llewellyn; her daughters, Shayla Llewellyn and Rachel Llewellyn of Piedmont, WV; her granddaughter Kieran Elaine Caldwell; her stepmother Maria Smith (Kaminsky); and her siblings, Julie Smith (Joe Marken) of Wiley Ford, WV, Sonja Garrett (Dale) of Overland Park, Christa Rossi (Mark) of Verona, Charles "Chuck" Evers Smith III (Janine) of New Market, MD and Theodore James. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Honoring Diane's request, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Llewellyn House Account at ACT 1st Federal Credit Union in LaVale, Maryland to aid Diane's daughters in retaining their Piedmont family home, built in 1914 by Charles Evers Smith.
