She was predeceased by: her parent Cecil D. Bateson Sr; her husband Robert P. Jackson; and her siblings, Cecil D. Bateson, Charles Bateson, Robert Bateson and Lillian Scarpinito.

She is survived by: her parent Irene Bateson (Gatrell); her children, Ann Jackson of Mt. Lake Park, MD and Rita Cuthbertson; her sister Delores Mauk of Fountain Head, WV; her grandchildren, Alicia Cuthbertson, John Robert Jackson, Molly Cuthbertson, Vinnie Cuthbertson, Isaac Jackson, Kisa Muir and Stan Muir Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Kenneth Wiles, Liam Muir and Tacy Lewis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
