With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kimberly Sue Been of Pickens, West Virginia, born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Bert Been. She is survived by: her mother Eileen Sypolt Been of Pickens; her sister Dr. Beth Been (Robert Garvin) of Lancaster; her nieces, Carly of Lancaster and Emily Garvin of Lancaster; and her nephew Grant Garvin of Lancaster. She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Kim's honor to Pickens Historical Society, PO Box 94, Pickens, WV, 26230.
