With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Keith Casto of Pickens, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayland Kenneth Casto and Mamie Wave Ogden Casto; his wife Norene Virginia Shingleton; his son Russell Casto; his granddaughter Lori McDowell; his brother-in-law Herbert Haslebacher; and his nephew Charles Haslebacher.

He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth Ann Bennett of Pickens, Sandra Casto McDowell (Jeff) of Buckhannon and Janet Atwell (Roger) of Rock Cave; his grandchildren, Tena Huffman (Jud) of French Creek, Jeanie Walkowiak (Michael) of Virginia, Travis Bennett of French Creek, Carl Bennett (Morgan) of South Carolina, Susan McDowell of Buckhannon, Jason Atwell (Brandi) of Pickens, Justin Atwell (Jennifer) of Rock Cave and Cody Atwell of Rock Cave; and his sister Joyce Haslebacher of Bridgeport.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clutter Funeral and Cremation (21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Clutter Funeral Home Chapel (21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV 26201). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at the Final Resting Place Pleasantdale Cemetery.
