He is survived by: his son Michael R. Helmick (Linda); his grandchildren, Michael A. Helmick (Marshawna Montgomery) of Morgantown and Mya Helmick (Gage Hathaway) of Blacksville; his great grandchildren, Mya Helmick and Cody Helmick; his brother Dennis Goff Helmick (Hazel); his niece Pam Helmick McGonigle (Kevin); his nephews, Garth Helmick and Gary Stone (Patty); and his siblings-in-law, Everett Waggoner (Bobbie), David Varner (Dorothy) and Dorothy Lynch.
