We are sad to announce that on August 12, 2020, at the age of 76, Zelma (Perry) Upton of Philippi, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Charles and Pauline Garlen Perry (Koon); her spouse Dever Cole Upton; and her sisters, Ava Mae Perry, Barbara Kay Perry Zelma and Tech.

She is survived by: her close friend Jim Ratcliff; her children, Brenda Paugh (Vinson) of Philippi and Edward Paugh Jr. (Clarissa) of Philippi; her siblings, Wanda Bennett, Waveline Davis of Cheraw, SC and Melvin Perry; her brother-in-law Franklin D. Upton; her grandson Nathan D. Paugh (Kayla) of Philippi; her stepgrandchildren, Karina Poe (James) of Belington and Justin Thorne (Alex) of Belington Five; and her close friend Flash. She is also survived by Five step-great-grandchildren.
