Vida Mae Dalton Obituary

Vida Mae Dalton, 73, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, August 16th, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on February 20, 1950, a daughter of the late Gus and Opal Mayle, also preceded in death by daughter Karen Sue, sister Rosalie Mayle, 5 brothers Gus Mayle Jr., Eddie Brent Mayle, Rocky Mayle, Howard Lee Mayle and Allen Dale Culberson. She was a faithful member of the New Covenant Church of Canton. Survived by her husband Julius P. Dalton; daughter Brenda Henry; son Eric Dalton; sister Janice Mayle; 3 brothers Jerry Mayle, Pastor Ron Mayle, Malvin Mayle; 4 grandchildren Tyler, Justin, Hannah, and Josh; great-grandson Bryden; as well as many nieces; nephews; family members; and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, August 22nd, in the New Covenant Church, 3202 Cliftmont St NE, Canton, OH 44705, with Pastor Ron Mayle officiating. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to services. Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
