He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel T. Waid and Ethel Waid (Whitesell); his wife Patty; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his brother Thomas (Tim) of Duncansville, TX; his daughter Pam; his son-in-law Marty Hill of Punta Gorda, FL; his son Dave of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Cameron, Corey Zimmerman, Travis Hill (Jill), Samantha Hill and Nicholas Hill; and his great grandchild Hazel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (220 N Walnut St, Philippi, WV 26416). The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southern Baptist Church (19969 Barbour County Hwy, Philippi, WV 26416). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
