Rosalie Virginia Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalie Virginia Jones of Philippi, West Virginia, born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Eldon Elza and Myrtle Shipley; and her foster parents, Nori Polling and Netti Polling. She is survived by: her caregiver Judy Simmons; her sisters, Louise Stewart of Fairmont, WV and Elaine Standridge; her grandchildren, Michael Booth of Dublin and Bobbie Nathan of Boston, MA.; her great grandchild Corbin Booth of Dublin, VA.; her sons-in-law, Joe Booth and Matthew Nathan; and her daughters, Carrie Booth and Pam Folickman.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home (220 N Walnut St, Philippi, WV 26416). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
