He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Bruce and Christine Lubanna Jones (Burner); his wife Sharon Jones (Booth); his son Gregory Vincent Jones; and his brother Dr. Terry Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Jones of Philippi and Robert Jones (Kris) of Philippi; his grandchildren, Vickie Barney (Brett), Rachel Risinger (Chad), Michael G. Jones, Mark A. Fink (Shana), Michael A. Fink (Katelyn), Kristyn Jones (Jeremy Evix), Tyler Jones (Colby Nestor), Sarah Jones (Andy Everson) and Carter Jones; his great grandchildren, Brett, Mason, Ian, Eli, Adi, Owen, Lane, Levi, Aiden, Chloe, Chase, Colton, Wesley, Beau and Gracelyn; his brothers, Richard Jones (Gayle) of Philippi, Don Jones (Stephanie) of Washington, WV and Pat Jones (Susan) of Philippi; and his sister-in-law Suzie Jones of Kenova, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the City of Philippi Police Department K-9 Unit, or the Barbour County Sheriff's Department shop with a cop program.
